DH plays guitar (as a hobby, not a livelihood or anything). He's very good at it. However a couple of years ago he decided to grow the nails on his right hand to aid his playing. This he did, and they're very long and very sharp/hard/pointy. I think you can guess where I'm going with this 😬
It actually hurts when he uses his hands on me and I've had a few injuries (nothing major, just annoying scratches, though I worry about worse happening). I've told him that it's sometimes painful and asked him to cut his nails but he point blank refuses - guitar is his passion and to be fair I understand that. So we're at a stalemate.
Not sure why I'm posting really other than to ask whether I'm being unreasonable asking him to trim his nails - part of me thinks I am (guitar/his passion etc, and I don't feel I have the right to tell anyone what they should do with their nails/body). But at the same time I don't feel I am BU (it hurts/injuries/if he cared he'd cut them).
Also just venting because I miss the days when this wasn't an issue!
