Friends asking me intimate details about new partner

I guess I have done my fair share of girlie chat in the past, though hopefully never spitefully or in a way that would get back to the person in question. I recently started seeing a new guy who lives 200km away so obviously isn't known to anyone in my circle. Or vice versa. 2 of my friends 1 of whom is long term married and the other who has been single for a while have been asking me all sorts of details about intimate details since I told them we slept together. I wasn't sure how to react and I have said things in the past but I wondered if others also get asked about stuff like this. Or maybe you are always just open about it?

I have a very small, long established friendship group where everything is discussed.

With others, l’m far more hesitant.

When I was younger and dating, I would tell my close friends details and we'd all overshare, but now I would never talk about my husband in the same way. That's just between the two of us. If you're not comfortable going into detail, then just tell them you prefer to keep things private.

I'm always very open with my friends about my adventures, but not about my DH, that's private. I'm sure they'll understand if you don't want to kiss and tell.
