Why are men so obsessed with this

Apologies for the rather crude topic but has anyone else noticed that men are more obssessed with squirting these days?

I guess tastes evolve over time. Back in the 70s a hairy growler was fine now it's expected to be neatly trimmed and waxed. Anal was the big thing in porn in the 80s and 90s. And now it seems like squirting is the next big frontier. And yes I think a lot of it is to do with porn. Maybe it's seen as more a female friendly thing with the metoo movements and equality?

I'm single and on OLD and I'm certainly no prude, I don't mind a bit of flirty chat. But honestly the number of times I've been asked about squirting is unreal.

The men have been told pissing ourselves is the height of female sexual excitement, so if they're good lovers they should get us to do it.

And I suppose a woman who can 'squirt' is seen as more enthusiastic/wild about sex.

Yes, women in porn are pissing. That's obvious from the sheer volume and velocity! They're making it look as dramatic as possible.

But, as someone who can and does squirt, I can assure you that it is most certainly not piss. It doesn't feel like it, look like it, smell like it or taste like it.

I've seen the arguments about what it is and where it comes from and I can only add two comments.

Surely what is seen in porn is urination, you can see it coming from the urethra and it's clearly intended to be extreme.

I've only know anything like it with one woman and even then only twice in a long relationship. Both times she was on top and we were having a 'slow comfortable screw' and ended up drenched, far too much for it to be normal vaginal juices. Didn't see any actual squirt but it had seeped out from somewhere. I knew I hadn't pissed myself, it's pretty much impossible when that aroused, and she insisted that she hadn't. All happened long before it was a big thing in pornography.

As far as my personal experience goes, it remains a mystery.

@Kittykat93 squirting comes from the skenes glands altho the same fluid does lubricate the urethra too apparently. I can tell the difference between peeing through my urethra, ejaculating or squirting via the glands and flooding via vagina area. 3 different areas in my case. Pee stinks, ejaculate smells like sex fluid. 😄

It's surely true to say that some of this is from porn. And rudeness on OLD takes many forms.

But from the male perspective, squirting = Job Well Done. After all, for men it starts with a kiss, but it ends in expelling fluid, to put it unpoetically. So a woman squirting is nice, clear proof for the man that he's done something right.

As to what gets squirted, I've had it in my mouth. Very bitter, thin, sour, not a pleasant taste at all, nothing like the taste of cunnilingus. Apparently urine also tastes bitter.

For me it became a bit of an inconvenience.

Squirting does not mean the guy has done the job well, body language, orgasms, the wetness of a woman during sex are the biggest indications in my opinion.

😂 I share your pain! I thought I'd taken appropriate precautions with waterproof sheets, when we had a prolific squirter pay us a visit recently... I hadn't counted on her squirting whilst in the swing. I had to Vax the bedroom carpet in the morning! 🙄😂
