How motherhood affects sex life?

Hi, motherhood has transformed me in many ways and one particular way is that I don’t seem to want kinky sex anymore that I used to enjoy. I just want plain passionate missionary position type of thing, massage, bath and good night of sleep. My baby is only one year old, do you think the old me is dead or will the desire to be adventurous return? It bothers my DH but not too much. Has motherhood changed your sex life? I’m not talking about not having the time anymore, that is obvious but actually changing your preference?

I suppose it may depend on what the kinky stuff is. Wouldn't class myself as kinky normally. Do you feel you ought to be kinky, or do you miss it? If you're DH doesn't mind, and you're doing it how you want to right now, that's what counts.
I can say that 2 years of mum mode, then you look to find yourself again. Just go with what you are comfortable with, no need to analyse. A lot of people are never kinky.

I’d say my wife is less kinky (for want of a better word) than pre children.
Our youngest is now a teenager so it hasnt come back. But i think its down to a lot of factors, ie age, length of time together, never in the house alone, not really important anymore and she cant really be bothered.
In short a lot of things change your own view of your own sexuality

I just wanna sleep all the time!!! If (insert name of some hunky celeb) climbed into bed i would still put my ear plugs in and fall asleep! I often feel like after having kids i cant see anything past getting some sleep! Xxx
