My partner is seconds, literally. I am at the point where I just don't want to have sex as the penetration is important to my experience and it's over almost before it starts. We've been together years and I am just bored of it, although I feel like a bitch saying it. It also can never be quick motion because that makes the experience even shorter, like 5 seconds. Just interested in other experiences and any advice to make it last longer. It's making me miserable.

I find it depends on how, er, excited I am.

I can last as little as a few seconds, or I can last a lot longer. It also depends on exactly what the situation is at the time. I find I can sometimes last longer with oral or masturbation than piv - it depends.

As well as delay sprays, there are condoms that have a numbing agent in the tip that certainly have helped me in the past, but a lot of people don't like to use condoms, particularly with their long term partner.

Learning self control is worthwhile looking at, as is trying a second (third, fourth..) time after a suitable recovery time - this has also worked for me.
