Diabetes high blood pressure, and orgasm

Recently been diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure.
Im on tablets for both.

But im really worried the affect of orgasm will have on my blood pressure.

Imi afraid to let go.
Anyone been in the same boat.

orgasms are good to reduce stress and maywell help ,presume you are female , let go enjoy .

If your resting BP is now back to normal because of the medication and your sugar is down too, the temporary spike in BP during orgasm shouldn't do you any harm.

Exercise that gets your heart rate up, on the other hand, is positively beneficial! Just tell your partner you’re worried, but you’re probably safer than you were before diagnosis when you were having sex, if you think about it that way.

Just one person but I am having a very very good time with DP very often and no ill effects, only good ones!

Helping keep your sugar and BP normal by exercising(!), trying to reduce stress is good so please try not to worry. I think it’s the mental impact of the diagnosis that can make it harder to let go as it can change how you see yourself? It’s great you’ve got diagnosed and can do positive things to address it but I bet it doesn’t always feel like that now. Are you feeling absolutely furious about diabetes? I never expected to feel that. It’s astonishing how anger/sadness/worry alternated for me!
