First night together and waxing

I will
Soon spend the first night with my new boyfriend/ lover. I'm very nervous after a 20 year monogamous and faithful marriage.
However I am at that stage of bikini waxing where I have some growth but not enough to wax and I really want to be smooth.
Any advice please on this. I know he enjoys smooth too.

Um...is this real? Only option is the razor then

cosmicbabe · 08/09/2020 07:27

You can wax if there is hair there. Don't shave Shock

Veet or similar?

xpc316e · 08/09/2020 13:12

I am not able to give you any advice on how to obtain a velvet foof, but I am going to wish you all the best and hope you both have a lot of fun. I expect that you will be really nervous after a 20 year dating gap, but go with the flow and enjoy the feelings.

Spoken like a true gent @xpc316e - as always.
@littlebitotartan. If you want a giggle to distract you, Google the reviews of Veet cream on Amazon 😉
Enjoy yourselves 😁

You can still have a wax even with short hairs. And then tweezer the rest! For gods sake don't shave !
Hope you have lots of filthy fun!

Most professional waxers will tell you that you need 3-6 weeks hair growth for a successful wax.

Personally I like to be smooth most days so it's shaving for me. I prefer the sensation - vastly. I'm very hairy, and to me, getting oral while very hairy is like trying to get it through a sock - all sensations are muffled. I used to suffer badly with ingrown hairs and shaving rash but I've developed shaving routine that gives me the best results with the minimum effort.

It sounds as if it is too early for another successful wax. If you are that concernered about being smooth, try a new (it must be new) 3 bladed Venus Raspberry razor which contains alloe vera and use a good quality hair conditioner to shave with so the razor glides. Avoid shaving with soaps and shaving gels.

Have a lovely time, but remember you will always have some regrowth between waxes.
