How long after birth did it feel normal

Just that really, how long after giving birth did having sex feel normal and pain free? I'm currently 8 weeks after giving birth and tried sex for first time today and couldn't because of the pain. I feel absolutely fantastic, no pain or discomfort usually and haven't for over a month now so thought we'd be good to go 😞😣

About 3 or 4 weeks, but it had all been straightforward, no stitches or anything.

If it hurts then speak to your GP. You should have a postnatal check at about 8 weeks anyway.
