Ok first some caveats. I'm not personally interested in this man who is am acquaintance and former colleague. He is 30 sthg, single and comes across very quiet ans retiring. Good-looking, sometimes could come across as gay (but he isn't). Lets call him x. According to a male mutual friend who briefly shared a flat with him, x was rarely romantically attached (when he was he was 100% faithful). When single according to the flatmate he would regularly have one night stands. Another ex colleague says he spent the night with more than one woman on a work trip. Again, all parties unattached and all 100% consensual. He is such a quiet, gentle guy and I suppose I associate this behaviour with loud alpha types. Was talking this through with another person who says she reckons he is making upnfor a strict religious upbringing. I realise some people baulk at those who have lots of lovers, but honestly once it is all consensual and not unfaithful, I don't see why it should be judged no more than monogamy or celibacy.
