Really stupid question I know Blush but... if I had unprotected sex on the 29th and then took the morning after pill on the 30th if I had unprotected sex again today would I need to take another morning after pill or would the one I took yesterday still be effective?

Just take another to be safe

This is a medical question for wherever you got the MAP. It is not for lay people on here who may advise you incorrectly.

Either way, the MAP does not do you any good and, sorry if this sounds like a lecture, you really do need to look towards better solutions. I am not ashamed to admit I always carry condoms in my handbag.

Yes I know @StarlightLady but I’m sure we all been there and made the mistakes whilst young , thank you!!

MAP didn't work for me. Took very next day, still needed an abortion

StarlightLady · 01/01/2020 05:42

OP, l wasn’t trying to be judgemental, l was trying to be supportive of another woman. The MAP is not pleasant. I was also stressing the importance of obtaining medical advice from medics, no a MN forum.

@StarlightLady don’t worry I know!! Sorry if it came across that I thought you was, I was saying thank you for the idea of keeping some in the handbag Smile
