Hello

If someone has sex with a female and they like it and also fancy and sleep with men, are they bi? Im just wondering. Not had relationship with women and not keen to.

It's confusing. I guess it doesn't matter.

Thanks..

By the way, I am a mature female even though I sound like a teenager in my OP! I wonder if sexuality is more fluid for me... Or are women my "fetish" Blush which would be quite unfeminist of me. Dear oh dear.

I have GF's who are percentage wise split when it comes to their orientation for example one is 80/20 bi and so you therefore could describe her sexuality as fluid.

I would suggest that putting labels on either yourself, or other people, is restrictive and potentially harmful. You are what you are and you may feel different tomorrow, so just get on and enjoy life, your body, and your sexuality.

If you feel sexually attracted to people of your own gender, what on earth is wrong with that? I am also at a loss as to how it might make you less of a feminist.

Best wishes.

Thank you. I guess I was in a bit of a tizz yesterday trying to process everything.

The feminist comment was because I felt at times she (the lady) was just a body to enjoy and that I would not want to date her as dating women sounds difficult (as I think we are more emotional than men generally). It felt like I was objectifying her and I felt guilty about that. That's what men do to women. And it doesn't feel nice when they do it to me and there I am doing it to her.

Doesn't it depend on the context?

xpc316e · 12/12/2019 16:43

DocusDiplo I now understand the feminist part of your post; thanks for explaining it to me. I like your thinking.

noego · 13/12/2019 15:08

You didn't answer my question OP about context.

DocusDiplo · 13/12/2019 22:03

I thought it was rhetorical, sorry.
I wouldn't really know where to start. It's a friend and I've always liked the idea of a sexual encounter. Met a lesbian. Befriended her. With no nefarious intentions! Ended up propositioning her as we are both long term single!

If you have attraction to both sexes then yes that's bi.
It doesnt matter if you tend to like one sex more than the other still bi if you have attraction to both.

Stuff the labels and just get on with whatever makes you happy.

Namechangedyorkshire · 15/12/2019 10:04

Don't worry about labels. I had an experience years ago before meeting DH. Went to party, couldn't get home and host lent me a bedroom. She ended up sliding in bed along side me and suggested I just lay and enjoy. What a mind blowing experience which I then tried reciprocating and did ok I think

I look back with very find memories but don't label myself
