Pill killing my sexy drive

So I have recently started to have sex again after a very long drought. I am 41 and especially in the last 12 months I have found my sex drive has sky rocketed. So delighted to find a FWB to satisfy my lust.
Anyway thought it would be wise I start the pill. Logynon to be specific - been on it 7 days now and already has almost completely killed my sex drive and I am completely dry !!! This after 7 days?!!! So obviously I want to stop pill completely now!
Anyone any experience of coming off it after a week? Will I start to bleed? I only had my period last week.... so hoping no.

I’m not qualified to comment on the bleeding but I woukd think probably.

But with the other business you have just hit the nail on the head (so to speak) as to one of the reasons, why as a woman in her 40s, I use condoms. Easy to carry, you can put them on with your mouth, and they don’t mess with your hormones.

Thanks @StarlightLady so true lol
Yeah dunno why I was thinking pill would be a good idea when condoms got me through my 20s. Only went on the pill when I was in long term relationship which I am still in but his interest in sex is zero so came off it about 6 years ago when we had kids. He still doesn't want sex so got me a FB on fab and whilst planning to use condoms regardless for STDs just thought pill would be a back up as DO NOT want anymore kids!!!
But can't believe how much it is killing my sex drive as haven't even felt the want in me to masterbate which is usually daily! Tried last night and holy shit it was dryer than the Sahara!!!

Was just anxious about bleeding as meeting my FWB this weekend so here's hoping I won't....
