Fabswingers is awash with guys. I think the ratio is something like 80 or even 100 men to each woman, and more join every day...
Most seem to think that just by posting a profile and a dick pic, that they will be inundated with women wanting to have sex with them.. There seems to almost be an expectancy and sense of entitlement, which spoils it for those of us that are decent genuine respectful guys.. 
Oh, and age plays a huge part. I'm late 50's, and may as well be on the sexual scrap heap, based on my experience of women on Fab.
I've had more (well, some, at least) success at swingers clubs, where I am able to meet and talk to people, and I'm not judged just from my pictures. Maybe try your local swingers club?
I've also had a little success with "normal" dating sites, but it's an absolute minefield.
Totally agree with pp about Mumsnet having a dating thread (that's for people looking to date, not talk about dating)
