Overactive sex drive at 40. Female

So, I hit 40, and my sex drive shot through the roof.

But it's so bad that I'm looking at anyone as a potential victim! I'm happily married and sex is great although my sex drive is higher than my husbands.

I feel like a predator! Does anyone else suffer like this?

I remember reading something that men’s sexual peak is under 25 or 28 and women’s is around 40 - 45.....Perhaps that’s where cougar comes from. Lol.

You are not alone is that. My friend kept cancelling social engagements.....it transpired his wife’s sex drive had sky rocketed and she was jumping on him at any opportunity so he found I hard to leave the house (no pun intended).

I'm glad it's not just me, I won't be cheating on my husband but it just feels so inappropriate wanting to dry hump your daughter's boyfriend. And any other male that smells good for some reason!

Yep same here. I'm 45 and my sex drive went bananas a few weeks ago and luckily H is absolutely delighted. We've been like a couple of horny teenagers ever since. It's bloody marvellous 😂

Yup, same thing. Except in addition to wanting it more often my inhibitions have gone. So I want to do things I never considered previously.
It's been a revelation.

I'm in a new relationship as well so thank god I have someone to share it with.

Glad it's not just me too. Am 44 and DP is 51. Luckily he has a similar sex drive and is quite happy with 4+ times a day if time allows. We've been like it for over 3yrs and showing no signs of diminishing

I've been like this for a couple of years. It's so strange after having low sex drive for years with young kids making me tired etc.
