London lesbian scene

I'm bi and have had relationships with men and women and moved around the country a lot. Since having my kids (older teens) I haven't lived with anyone, but have recently split up with a bloke who turned out to be a lying loser. I really feel the need for some NSA fun with a woman or two!

My kids are spending a week with their dad from the 24th so I'm having some time in London by myself, going to the theatre and a couple of exhibitions. Thought I could hook up with some likeminded women for a couple of nights.

But I'm so out of the loop! Where do lesbians pick each other up nowadays? Is it all dating apps (which ones?) or club nights (where?) or private parties (where?)

Not looking for a relationship or love, just a laugh and some sex - nothing outrageously kinky or niche I'm quite 'femme'.

Any ideas gratefully received!

I imagine google is your friend. Everything, it seems, including sex these days is app based.

Dating apps don’t allow you to see the real person first.

I would suggest you do a Google search along the lines of “Lesbian friendly [what you are interested in eg bar, clubs, group] in [area].”

If the sex happens then lovely, but I wouldn’t suggest to anyone at first that is what you are seeking. Take the friendhip, maybe more aporoach.

Finally be aware that not all women who are lesbian are comfortable with bi women.

Finally MN appears to be a lesbian/bi desert. You may be better off posting elsewhere.

Thanks @StarlightLady good advice. I'm feeling old and very out of touch! The last woman I met was through Craigslist but even that is banned for personal ads now.
Twenty years ago there were great women-only social events in the city I lived in, where couples went and felt safe, and singles knew there was a good chance of a ONS or meeting Ms Right. The days before social media...
