Mirena coil symptoms.

I had the Mirena fitted on the 25th last month. And it's been horrible ever since! I'm getting horrible horrible sickness that comes at night, headaches, cervix pain, backache. The worse is the nausea and headaches has anyone else experienced this?

Bumping for you. Haven't had it myself despite Dr pushing it.. These stories are what out me off. Hope it settles soon @sparklingfairy1234

My wife had one fitted. She had all the symptoms you describe and then the mood swings started. 6 months later, we were on the verge of splitting up. She went to the doctor and said "You have to help me because my marriage is not going to survive..." and the decision was made to remove the coil. Voila! Old wife back. She said she felt on the verge of physically attacking people very minute of every day. Worst thing ever.

I never had any of those problems with my Mirena. It did take over a year for the random bleeding to stop though and I had it removed at 2.5 years due to complications after appendix removal. Go see the doc
