Gushing - alternatives to a towel?

I posted the other day about trying a new toy and it causing me to gush which is a new one on me. The first couple of times it wasn’t very much but when we had sex yesterday it was insane - it literally looked like I’d wet the bed (and I was on DH’s side so he wasn’t thrilled about it 😂)

I really don’t want to have to lie on a towel every time we have sex, and I thought okay, I’ll just put one down if I use that toy. However it seems that now my body knows it can do it, it’s up for doing it at random during other sexual activities so I can’t predict it.

I was thinking some kind of waterproof mattress protector but aren’t they sort of rustly and horrible to sleep on?

Can you at least tell us what the toy was? 😂

Like a puppy pad type thing? It’s all a bit clinical isn’t it - it’s a shame to have to lie on something rustly or a towel just to have an orgasm 😂

Somewhere I posted about it the other day and got accused of working for the company! Most definitely not, wish I was on commission though - I’d be loaded 😂

It was a Womaniser Starlet - if you have a look at reviews you’ll see this happens to quite a lot of women who use it. Weirdly the first time I used it I didn’t like it at all - it feels very different to anything else and is very intense.

you can get really good waterproof mattress covers not sweaty or rusting ones

You need a liberator throw. You can find them on Amazon. They aren't cheap but do the trick!

Ermmm, make up your bed as usual, then put waterproof cover over sheet, then another (old?) sheet over that for comfort. When 'finished', whip off top sheet for wash, wipe down waterproof cover with anti-bac and store away - leaving fresh dry sheet to sleep on.

Though admittedly this might all be a bit of a palaver if doing the deed regularly … and similarly a lot of effort for a quickie!

I use a microfibre camping towel - smoother & softer to lie on than a proper towelling towel.

EmptyOrchestra · 20/05/2019 13:58

I’ve just ordered a big microfibre towel that’s now towelly, if that makes sense - hopefully it’s a bit nicer to lie on 😂 Thanks for the suggestions.

When we go to swinging parties we use ‘gush mats’ which are essentially care mats that roll up.

I use picnic blankets lol 😂
