Painful sex/C-section/induction

I'm off to the doctor's tomorrow but just checking in here first to see if anyone has any help/advice.

I had a very long (84hrs) induction 16 months ago which involved 2 pessaries, a drip and 17 sweeps/VEs!! It resulted in a C-section.

I love sex and have been getting back into it in the last 6 months, my drive returned when I finished breastfeeding.

I've been struggling with lots of positions as I can feel a lot of pain in my cervix, almost like something has been left in there. DP has had a good feel around and can't find anything.

Anyone had any experience?

I honestly have no idea but it doesn't sound right. I'm shocked at the amount of VE's you had to endure.

Definitely ask your GP tomorrow for a gynae referral. They will probably want to do a trans vaginal scan.

Have you had a recent smear test? If not, get that booked in too.

Re PIV in the meantime, lube may help if you've not already tried this?

Smear test due and booked for April. They won't do it any earlier apparently.

At doctor's I had swabs, pee and blood tests and an examination. All came back normal so no infection or STI.

I've been referred to gynecology.
