When ttc DH and I had an amazing sex life and I wonder if the obligation of knowing we had to in order to get pregnant was part f it. 2dc later and it's become a bit mundane.

We've not had sex for a few weeks due to surgery (me - childbirth related) and im keen to get back to it now that I've healed. Would I be mad to initiate every day for a week to see if it'll bring back that 'can really get enoughfeeling we had when ttc?!

I somewhat doubt he is going to be upset at you trying it, but you also need to be prepared for him to say no occasionally. If you can suck that up and deal with it OK, then initiate all you want and I doubt he will complain!

I very much doubt he's going to say no - he'll probably be delighted! I'm more concerned that it won't work in raising my libido and it'll drop off to nothing again after the week - leaving us both a bit disappointed

If it doesn't work, what's the worst that happened than if you hadn't tried? I say give it a go.

It appears that it is not just the frequency that you'd like to improve, because you say that your sex life has become a bit mundane. If that is the case and you would like to try some new things then give this a try:

old.mojoupgrade.com/

It is a free questionnaire that you both complete, but you only get to see the results that you are both willing to experiment with. That means that there is are no recriminations and cries of 'You want me to do THAT to you - no way.'

It can lead to a lot of fun...
