Does sex hurt?

Right, I'm far too old to be asking people I know this question but:
Does sex hurt?

For me, sex has always been excruciatingly painful, but after a few months of (women's health) physio, things are definitely improving. The stretching sensation from him entering is tolerable but I don't know if its "normal".

A number of things depends on this...
do you lubricate well?
Is he well endowed?

Toooldtoask · 23/08/2018 22:58

Yes to both!
I'm really pleased with the progress I've made with the physio as its more muscular, I just wasn't sure if the stretching pain was normal. I'll happily put up with it if the muscular issue is sorted Smile

I can’t say if it’s normal or
Not, but my friend says her partner is well endowed, no issues with lubrication as far as she’s said and it sometimes hurts.

Its very normal to need to use lube with every partner, no matter their size. I'm on hormonal contraception (depo) and it's well known for reducing the amount you lubricate,

If you basically suffered with vaginismus before then a big well done for the progress made so far!
