A genuine question about male genitals.

No partner at the moment so I can't check this for myself & I couldn't find the answer on google. Does the seam-line that runs down the centre of a man's balls continue to run in a straight line down the perineum to the butt hole? I do have a reason for asking this but it'd be too revealing to explain more.

No disrespect to the OP, but why on a UK do people use American words like 'butt'. What is wrong with 'bum' or 'bottom'?

that's your most pressing question?? 😂

Well I am not particularly nationalistic, nor am I especially anti-American, but I do think that people should show some respect for the culture they live in.

Why do you think American English is more acceptable in an UK forum?

subspace · 29/09/2018 13:29

@qawsderf

The OP asked about the seam line on men's genitalia and said they couldn't say why. I can think of 100 questions I'd like to know, starting with why do you want to know, and can you tell us yet !

The use of American or UK English would be so far down my list of priorities to ask, I'm just amused that it was top of yours.

Why don't you still talk like Shakespeare? Language evolves and changes, butt is perfectly acceptable.

My husbands goes all the way round. If this is about cake, I would love to see the end result :o

dozyoldmangit · 05/10/2018 17:03

What are the chances of the result being displayed on "Bake-off: an extra Slice" for the nation to see?

The language of the 16th and 17th centuries is totally irrelevant here.

We are talking about the appropriate English words for a contemporary UK forum. 'Butt' is not one of these words as it is clearly an Americanism.

By saying that 'language evolves and changes', you seem to suggest that the Americanisation of UK culture is a totally natural and innocent phenomena, when clearly it isn't.

@qawsderf
My kids use the word butt for bum. No idea why, they don't really watch tv but I assume they've picked it up at school. It's never concerned me 🤷🏼‍♀️
I shall correct them and tell them to use arse instead - that English enough for you?

Now back to the important stuff..OP PLEASE tell us why you're asking this 😂

Anotherblokelurking · 09/10/2018 15:34

Butt is an old English word

fluffyalive · 09/10/2018 20:42

@wishywashy6 = LOL- definitely prefer 'arse' to either ' ass' or 'butt'

'Arse' is certainly a word that needs bringing back into common usage!

PussGirl · 09/10/2018 21:30

Arse is a great word - I use it a lot Smile

buscaution · 10/10/2018 00:26
