My DP and I would like to try anal. He is very experienced in it and I am not. Im concerned about any mess afterwards.

Is it 100% guaranteed there will be mess? Is an enema the only way to sort this out? There seems something wildly unsexy pausing midway through foreplay and excusing yourself for a douching Hmm Grin

So any tips are gratefully recieved!

As God is my witness, in my experience if you've recently had a poo then there isn't any mess.

Also in my experience: if DP fingers you deeply up there then he might touch some.

My advice is don't have anal sex if you're going to be worried about all that. Wanting your back passage to be guaranteed poo-free is a bit silly.

You're doing it up the bum. Poo might be an occasional price of admission. If you're douching before then that will reduce the likelihood.

Have been doing anal for years and only once has there ever been any hint of pooh. I've never even smelled any pooh and I don't douche or use enemas.

BungledUpInTwo sorry thats just complete bollocks. A tepid water enema will not do you ANY harm. Its not like you're taking the head off the shower and jet washing your arse!

OP - you can give yourself a bit of a swish even a couple of hours in advance, its not like you have to stop foreplay but there is always a chance/risk. If he is experienced, he will be aware of that and as long as he's prepared to take that small risk.... all is good

It can happen but tends to be tiny bits.

My suggestion is try it in the shower or maybe get him to wear a condom if you are worried about it.

Also take your time, make sure he realises it tends to take longer than vaginal sex so not to think once he’s got it in slightly to slide it all in straight away (experience!!!)

Also I would have a couple of glasses of wine to relax a little the first time.

I love it but I’ve had a couple of painful experiences with it too so just take your time and use lots of lube!

Douching is your best friend when it comes to no mess. Me and my husband frequent anal sex and after one slightly messy night I've been douching ever since. So far no mess! Best of luck!! x

Enemas are totally safe and not damaging as long as you stuck with water. No coffee or anything silly. I have to do this as I have a liver condition that causes my stools to be fatty and stick around the rim as it were
