Boobs leaking milk during sex

Apologies if this is tmi. I had my fourth baby 3 weeks ago and I am not breast feeding. My milk supply has started to dry up and I don't need to wear breast pads during the day anymore, but I have noticed whenever my boyfriend and I have sex my boobs leak massive amounts, like proper wet patches literally all over the bed. Last night was so much I had to change the sheets. Has anyone else had this or know what causes it? He hasn't been touching my boobs during sex because they feel a bit over sensitive at the moment and I know that would trigger it more. Just seems really weird and never had this before.

I am breastfeeding so was expecting some leaking etc but found in the early days that when I orgasmed during sex I would start shooting milk, DP didn't touch my breasts or anything it just happened spontaneously. It was rather amusing and has eased up now DD is 13 months. Once your milk has dried up it will stop happening.

Aren't you waiting the six weeks?

demirose87 · 18/10/2017 13:36

I had a c section and felt ok after a week so decided to go for it. Couldn't really wait any longer to be honest.

Grin oh okay.

I admire you!

My wife experienced this with all her pregnancies. Not sure if that helps you much but along with SilkyPJ's post hopefully it reassures you that you're not weird.

Thanks for replies, I guess it's probably just normal then and should probably keep my bra on 😁

Of course it's normal Hmm

I guess so, just never had it after my other babies, triggered by sex I mean.

It’s pretty normal to have milk so soon after giving birth even if you’re not breastfeeding. If it continue after a few months get your prolactin levels checked via blood test. You can take medication to reduce the levels if they are high and that will stop the breast milk (I have prolactin issues despite my children being 5 and 14 and me never having breastfed)!

It's normal, I think it's to do with the hormones you release (probably oxytocin) when you're having sex and your body just responds to the hormone rush. Don't worry about it, it's normal although maybe slightly inconvenient.
