Suddenly wanting sex

Have you and your dp suddenly gone through stages of having loads of sex.
We currently are after a while of not dtd. Is this normal?

Absolutely. We've been together over 20 years and have had countless peaks and troughs in sexual desire. I think hormones play a part, especially for women, but also physical and emotional energy levels. Unless it's causing problems in the relationship, just go with the flow. During the troughs in physical desire, it helps to keep the relationship strong by enjoying non-sexual or semi-sexual intimacy.

Yep over 20 years together here too and currently in the best peak we've ever had. We have more sex now than we did in our twenties when we first got together.
