New relationship..how much sex?

Wasn't sure to post here or the relationship bit..I also realise this varies a lot as to whether you have children around etc.

I live on my own (2 grown up children moved out) and have been with someone 5 months..everything is fab and I am very happy I've finally found someone so normal, funny & down to earth! My only niggle is I have a high sex drive and would like to have more intimate time with him. We don't see each other sometimes for 3 days as live a little way apart but even when we are together for say the weekend it's usually about twice..shouldn't we be at it like rabbits?!

Maybe but not all men have massive sex drives. You could ask him?

Since getting together with my partner i have discovered i have a very high sex drive - if i could then 3 times a day would be perfect.. Work and children however get in the way.. On th eweekend 4-5 would be great, but it never works out that way!
.. and sometimes when i have a late night or whatever i would still love a good fuck DP however falls asleep straight away..! But i know we'll make up for it in the morning.
Perhaps he doesn't want to push you? perhaps bringing it up in a sort of light hearted way may help?

So over a weekend you have sex twice. So once a night then?
Assuming as you have adult kids that you're 45plus and so is he... that would surely be normal?

OP isn't talking about whats normal though, she's saying that she'd like more - not quite the same, normal for you might not be normal for me!

If you want more,why dont you initiate it yourself, he might want more too, but might not like to think he was not being reasonable,

What is normal various enormously, some people are happy to do it once a month others want it all the time, perhaps he was in a past relationship with someone who had a low sex drive and doesn't realise you want it more. Why don't you have a few drinks this weekend and get him talking about sex, that way you can slip It into the conversation without it being a big thing.

The average in the UK is 3 times a week, so you ain't doing too badly OP. Get your point though, should want more at 5 months but, I guess we're all different
