Body concious- getting over it for sex?

My DH is very generous in bed. We experiment and have fun buying toys etc but last week DH bought a body stocking. I am really quite embarrassed by my body at the moment. I am about half a stone over weight which isn't much but I have always struggled with this issue and it gets me down. I am currently doing something about this but in the meantime DH is quite excited about this body stocking but I am less than enthusiastic. I feel bad because I want to do it for him but am so self conscious. If I say no he will accept that but sex is often about pleasuring me and I would like to return this for once. How can I get over this without drinking a bottle of wine?

Wear it around the house so you feel comfortable in it?

Half a stone is literally nothing in a body stocking. It's not going to make or break the look, in other words.

Shatners - you may be right. I haven't tried it on yet but cannot help thinking that I going to look disappointing compared to the models on the website.

You will look sexy in the bodystocking. You could be several stone overweight and still look sexy in it.

My husband bought me a body stocking OP and I must say I was the same as you and was really self concoius about my weight, I haddn't quite shifted the baby number 2 weight..
But having said that I took the plunge on a naughty weekend and wore it for him and the look on his face (tmi warning) and the lump in his boxers was all the confidence I needed! And ended up having fantastic sex!

One big thing I've learnt from having lots of conversations with my husband is that they don't care about the little wobbles we have, he loves me for who I am and how I look and I the same for him and some of his wobbles! I used to get so nervous about how he thought I looked I'd close up on him! But now we're open about everything.

Trust me OP, he wants to see you in the stocking not the model....

I don't think you could be several stones overweight and look good in a body stocking! Speaking from the pov of someone who is! Half a stone should be fine.

What your DH wants is you! Put it on and enjoy yourself!

Not sure it's helpful to say if you're more than half a stone overweight you won't look good in something! Isn't the point that feeling sexy isn't weight dependent?

Half a stone is nothing. You either have self-confidence or you don't.

Dementedma - me too but luckily I give not a fuck and still feel good whether anyone else would think so or not. Confidence is individual and not defined by weight - confidence is sexy!

P.s. Me too in that I'm a good 2 stone overweight not that I'm hideous. You need to be nicer to yourself.

My FWB bought me a fishnet body stocking. My face was as I'm a size 16 and yeah, I had visions of looking like I was trussed up in some form of satsuma net. He told me I would look better than the model in it and I was not convinced to say the least! Anyway I put it on and his face was worth every doubt I had!

He knows your body, he knows what it looks like and he wants to see you in it because I imagine he thinks you will look shit hot in it. Wear it
