DP and I were watching Big Little Lies last night.
After a physical fight with her husband, Nicole Kidman and aforementioned husband have sex.

It's all about the height difference. DH and I are almost the same height, I'm slightly taller. We have no problem with stand up sex with me facing either towards or away from him.

Akimbo totally agree. Me and my DH manage fine, and we are both the same height.

And it's not just about height, as some people have long torsos and short legs and vice versa. Need the right height in the right bits.
