I am female and can therefore supposedly enjoy multiple orgasms in one session, however once I've come once I am done and any further stimulation is just too sensitive and I have to stop.

Does this happen to anyone else? DH is most put out when I come first!

I generally only orgasm once (very occasionally more than once if the first one wasn't huge) I don't particularly want more stimulation after orgasming but I still enjoy intercourse or will gladly finish him off.
We know each other pretty well so can time things well enough for us both to get what we need. I think that's what you need to work on. You can't just stop because you're done, but he can't just carry on if you're uncomfortable. Could you delay your orgasm a bit? You could even take turns if need be. Just make sure that neither of you is left unsatisfied at the end of a session.

Are you able to take a 5 minute breather and then restart things?

If not and you're definitely done for the night, I think you'll have to work on having the fabled simultaneous orgasm. IME this usually involves the 69 position and impeccable communication :)

My wife is exactly like you. Once she's gone, she's gone. We are all individuals though so it shouldn't matter how other people are, you and your DH need to work with what you've got. I'm not sure why he is put out when you come first. Someone has to - simultaneous orgasms are (IMHO) a relatively rare luxury unless one of you is faking it. I bet he can't go on much longer either if he hits the back of the net first.

I wouldn't call simultaneous orgasms fabled or a rare luxury. We do it quite a lot by DH holding back until he can tell I'm there. Once I start to orgasm, that tips him over the edge anyway. It's clitoral stimulation that I need so fingers or a toy is always used. I don't see it as a huge achievement, it's just something that works for us. There's definitely no faking going on!

Yes but only if it's not through piv. Way too sensitive. Through piv usually have two although first one always most intense and can have up to 4

I acheived multiple orgasms for the first time in my late 30s. Before then I was the same as you OP. I'd recommend very gentle stimulation to get back into it. But if you're not up for it you're not, so don't worry.
