How much sperm is a normal ejaculate? Is a lot a sign of health problems?

I've been seeing a new guy for about 6 months - great sex. We have been using condoms until now. When we first got together, I noticed he well and truly filled the condoms with ejaculate - I was not checking or anything, just noticed when I emptied the bathroom bin (thankfully he knots them after use!) and when I gave him a bj. At first I thought it must be because he had gone without for so long - but it is always the same and very thick. I'd say he produces 2 or even 3 tablespoons each time. I'm back on the coil and thinking of moving to unprotected sex - but I'm worried that he might have an infection to make so much fluid. Even if it is not an infection, I'm concerned about the mess. I have only ever had sex with 2 other men who were one or two teaspoon producers - what is normal? I don't know if it is relevant but he is also well built with a big penis - has to use Durex XXL brand - do big men make more?

Limited experience as a lesbian! But have had a donor and syringed his sperm. It was always between 2-5 ml. We conceived 2 children over 5 years trying several times a year. Consistency varied as to his diet and fluid intake. Yours sounds a lot. But like I say someone more experienced will come along soon I am sure.

How much discharge do you produce? It's all different to everybody. You should both get tested anyway before moving on to unprotected sex

I had the snip last year. Strangely, I seem to produce FAR more semen than I did pre-snip. I would say it now averages about a tablespoon or more? 2-3 tbsp does sound a lot though. That's a proverbial bucket load.

My current DP produces far more than I have experienced before. Have never measured the amount (!) but I would say similar to what you describe.
