Massage oil when pregnant?

Usually DH and I use massage oil during sex and it ends up everywhere (literally) but the one we have at the moment is very full of lavender, sandalwood etc which I feel cautious of using when pregnant, especially if it ends up inside me.
Does anyone know what we could use as an alternative to this that would be safe for the baby?
TIA

Someone told me it's good for helping the perineum more supple - she used it regularly throughout her pregnancy

Good old Olive Oil is good for everything. Hair, feet, skin, nutrition, massage, if some ends up inside your fanjo during massage it's all good, no problems.

Maybe lacking in sensual aroma, mind you! But your body and soul will feel fantasic.

Get one of those massage bars from lush. It does get oily and glidy but doesn't get everywhere like liquid oil.

Oils that are safe/good to use in pregnancy are almond, wheat germ, jojoba, olive, coconut..... Nothing with essential oils added I.e it shouldn't smell perfumed at all.

KY Jelly or other water based lubricant is fine too.

Thank you, I am a bit put off by oily smells unless they have essential oils in but I think coconut oil will be fine.. Let the "massages" commence Smile Grin Wink

Almond oil - very good for the skin - they use that as skin cleanser in burns and plastic surgery units!
