Morning wood

Slightly naive/embarrassing question: would a man know whether a morning erection is just morning wood, or a result of actually being turned on? Is it safe to assume that all DH's early morning erections are little to do with me?

90% I would say are morning glory however, only about 1% would have an issue with you taking advantage

For me, its always been a bit of both, the need for a pee and the fact that you've just spent several glorious hours, cuddling skin to skin with a partner that you fancy.

Any wood is good :-) Personally going from morning glory to aroused (mentally that is) takes me no time at all, so I'd suspect at least part of it is to do with you.

It can be both I think, DP wakes up with one pretty much every morning and he says it's because he's so relaxed and he's always done it even when he sleeps alone..
Some mornings he wakes up with one and he's all "good morning" so yeah both I believe.

I don't care what they are, nor does DH. Has them every morning and we often take advantage of them. Sleepy morning sex is good sex.

I'm not really worried what the cause is, and happy to take advantage either way, just curious. Maybe some good dreams are getting him excited?!

Men's testosterone levels are highest first thing in the morning hence why we often wake up aroused. Ironically women's oestrogen levels are highest in the evening. It is a miracle sex ever happens
