Complete loss of libido?

I've always had a very high sex drive. My partner could barely keep up. We would usually have sex 2-3 times a week and as he doesn't live here full time at the moment, whenever he wasn't here I would do a bit of diy. However I've suddenly lost all libido. I know it's nothing to do with not being attracted to my partner because it's not just with him. I don't do it myself anymore either. I'm just not into it. The last time I had sex was two weeks ago. I'm not on any medication, I do have the contraceptive implant but I've had that for a year and it's never caused this problem before. I've been a bit ill recently and had tests for things such as my thyroid, diabetes etc but they all came back clear. Is it normal to just suddenly lose all of your sex drive? I've been trying to do things that might help like watching porn but nothing seems to stir anything up. I'm pretty sure my partner might start getting a bit offended if I keep purposely ignoring him! And no, I'm not pregnant (which is the one and only other time before now when my sex drive has vanished)

How old are you? Do you have kids?

What's your life like at the moment? I find when I'm feeling run down or very busy in life then sex goes on the back burner.

I've had this same thing....

I think about masturbating or watching porn to try and kickstart it but I can't even muster the desire to do that.

I'm 33....I've been putting mine down to Venlafaxine (anti-depressants) but not sure it's that as I was on them when I met DP.

The only thing mine coincided with was DP moving in so I was wondering if the intimacy of living together has put a damper on it but that doesn't explain why I don't even have any desire to DIY.

So in summary....I'm no help but watching the thread with interest.

I'm 26 and I do have a 7 year old but having her has never had any impact on my sex life before (other than keeping the noise down of course) I'm not on any medication either. It's not like it's slowly diminished, it's happened so suddenly. I just can't figure out what it could be. Nothing in my life has changed, I'm not under any more stress than I usually am lol I'm just baffled

Place marking. Same here - literally stopped overnight. That was 2 years ago. I try to explain it to my OH, its like knowing you should feel hungry, but not knowing how to make yourself hungry. It slips my mind as there's just a void where my mojo used to be - but I know it really upsets him.

If anyone has any useful feedback I'm all ears too!
