when does your sex drive come back after babies?

We have a 13 month old and I have zero interest in sex. I had put it down to us being tired all the time but she sleeps now so it's not that...feel like if won't come back!

So annoying as when I was heavily pregnant I was desperate for it!!

Are you still breastfeeding? It is a natural libido killer.... I didn't tell dp that! When I stopped most night feeds my periods returned and I perked up a bit, and more again when I stopped totally at 18months. But also sleep and vitamin deficiencies take their toll...

Actually I have just come off the pill - millinette, as I thought that could be affecting things. Do you think so too?

Hi I'm glad to read this, I have a 14 month old and feel the same. Stopped breastfeeding a week ago so am hoping may start to feel a bit more inclined soon, but it's a bit of a worry for my relationship although DH has been massively understanding. Think probably a lot of it is down to tiredness and looking like crap due to being constantly covered in baby vomit /snot / breastfeeding bras etc, bit of a passion killer...! Not sure how to improve it though.

Mine came back after 10 weeks I think , and then got pregnant again soon after that....whoops!

Not bf 'ing though. I actually found I was more interested afterwards...might be a rarity though!

Mine came back after a week
Then after my first true cycle it dossapeared for a bit and then slowly came back from 10months onwards. DS is now one and a half and I'd say I'm back to normal for me

7 years later. When I divorced XH and met DP

My DS is 22 months old and I'm still waiting.

Me and DH didn't have sex after the birth of DS until he was about 16 months old and we only did it the once. In the 6 months after that (which takes us up to now) we've only had sex about 4 times. I have no drive or desire for it at all.

I'm still breast feeding though so I'm hoping it's because of that.
