Been chatting to a guy via Whatsapp, been a bit flirty but nothing more. Out of the blue comes a dick pic..why? And how (if at all) do I respond? He seems nice enough, and I'm looking more for an ego boost than a relationship, and I don't think he's searching for a soulmate either, but even so. And at 9 in the morning??

I think its borderline abusive to send an unsolicited dick pic. There has been no consent agreed to taking a relationship to a sexual level. it would be sexual harassment at least if someone shoved their dick in your face without consent in real life. Not cool. Any men reading this, dick pics will not get you laid.

Dp has never sent me a dick pic. He did ask a while back if I wanted them and I replied that honestly I didn't. Dicks are great fun to play with, but I dont find a picture that much of a turn on. A picture of him entirely naked would be different, but just a dick on its own... Nah.

When I've asked male friends they've said its either to show how excited they are by the woman or they want to turn the woman on and presume that what turns them on (I.e pictures of a woman's parts) it would be the same the other way around.

I've never asked my male friends if they have sent them, I'd hate to know!

at the beginning, to give some men the benefit of the doubt, maybe they didn't realise that dicpicks left women so underwhelmed (and/or offended) but now, unless they've been living under a rock, they all know that women don't like it. So with every passing year it gets more confusing really.
