How often do you and DP have sex?

We're really sporadic, but I guess, on average, it would be twice a week. Some weeks nothing, other times 4+ it all evens out.

Can we include our ages and kids ages for some real comparison.

Me 35, oh 45 kids 5months and 21months.
Not enough, but normally once a week. But we didn't have sex during either pregnancy or the month or so after so it feels like we've quite a bit of catching up to do.

Comparison really is odious. As someone said, it depends on age, ages of kids, circumstances, health etc. As long as you and OH are both content with your frequency, what does it matter what compare the market says?

Morning? Morning! Goodness me know you can't have more sex in the morning. Morning either start at some unearthly hour starting with 5 or on days off they start when a child comes and gets into bed with us. Last time we tried to have morning sex was a very strange morning when all the children seemed to have come to a decision to sleep in. We started getting a little frisky and inevitably child 1 appeared. Child 1 was convinced to go downstairs and watch TV and we got back to it thinking that the lure of the TV would get the others downstairs rather than coming in to us. Nope. Not a chance. 2 mins later "mummy and daddy why are you wrestling?" Bloody kids.

Varies, sometimes a couple of times a week sometimes a couple of times a month. Me mid 40s DH mid 50s, with a teen and a pre-teen

About once a week. Sometimes it's less. Rarely once in a blue moon it's more often.
Stayed in a hotel the other weekend - that was a busy couple of days Nothing since though!

Every other day as we're TTC and have been for 2.5 yrs. And I'm sick to death of it.

Unless it's totm about 3-4 x a week. Some weeks it's less sometimes more.

Saturday morning and Sunday morning. Sometimes not both and sometimes not either. We're happy with it and that's all that matters to us, I sometimes think I would like more but then sometimes when I know it's coming I think oh god I can't be bothered just let me sleep!

purplemurple1 I'm so relieved to read your post! I'm 31 wks pregnant and just so can't be arsed with sex right now. DH isn't fussed, he thinks sex in pregnancy is 'weird' (tbh I've not tried to persuade him otherwise!), let alone the physical logistics of the act. It's been a good few months without and I'd imagine a good month or so after...thank god this is normal and the mojo will return! Was starting to think I was 'broken'! Prior to getting knocked up, it was at least once a week- we're 42 & 36, together 13 years.

But we only see each other 2 nights a week.

Been together two years, live apart, no kids, once or twice a week. Seems like average I'm glad! I feel like I turn him down quite a lot :( but he doesn't seem to mind!

DH is a teacher. He is knackered. In term time we usually only do it at the weekend - once or twice if I'm lucky, whereas in school holidays it's far more frequent (no kids of our own). I reckon I've got a pretty high sex drive, but it's always been about quality not quantity for me so I'd say I'm satisfied - every time we do have sex we take our time over it and it's bloody amazing!

3-5 times a month, we live apart, I'm 58 and t'other is 62, and it's some of the best naughtiness we've both ever had...

Normally every other day. and if I don't feel up to it for a few days then I always 'relieve' DP. It's only fair. Together 4 yrs, DD1 is 7 DD2 is 2.5 and DD3 is due in 2 weeks....

varies but probably evens out at once a week, rarely go over two weeks without, then have a bit of a binge!

Having said that and there is a stealth boast coming up I've been pregnant, single, pnd, BF, made redundant and everything in between during those 3 years, so sex has not been high on my priority list.

However...met somebody a couple of months ago and dating for about 6 weeks. We are doing our first overnight together at the weekend. To say I am looking forward to it is an understatement.

I really did think I'd never want to have sex again, after all that's gone on BUT I'm pleased to say, I'm as horny as a a rhinoceros.

I plan to have sex eleventy million times a day. Which is.going to be difficult with work, kids and living 20 miles apart. But we can try.
