How to get information about a school during the Summer holidays.

Is it possible to get information about a school's class size etc from our LEA during the school holidays so I can prep for an appeal in Sept' for a year 9 senior school place or will I have to wait until schools open again and ask the school direct?

There will certainly be admin staff in the LEA over the summer and our some of our office staff go in over the hols so worth a phone call.

You could see if the information you want is on the LEA's website - in our authority it's in the admissions booklet

Every school has a 'School Profile'. I think it links from the DFES website. It will give you some basic information, including class sizes etc.
