Anybody any thoughts on either Henry Box or Bartolomew School?

We are looking to move either to Witney or Eysnham this summer and on paper Bartlomew seems to be the better school but has anybody any experience of either or both schools? Many thanks

We live between the 2 schools you mention. My children go to boarding school out of the area for no other reason other than our mobile lifetsyle,

My youngest at a local primary has attended several activuty days hosted by Bartholomew and I have always found the pupils there to be very polite and helpful. The campus looked in good condition too.

I have several local friends who send their older DC to Bartholomew and speak highly of it. I think their other option was Wood Green and all have choseen Bartholomew over that school. I get the impression from friends their next option would have been Henry Box but because of where we live most (if not all) tend to move into Bartholomew. Lots of people speak very highly of it and I am told they moved to this village to ensure they children got places at Bartholomew.

Sorry I cannot be more specific or know any more about Henry Box. Hope you find the school that suits your DC best.

We had our minds set on Eynsham but are struggling to find a house in Eynsham itself. We have been looking now for a good three months and no house has come up in our price bracket. So we thought about casting the net further and came across Madley Park which seems nice but would mean driving and we will have to move again when DC go to secondary to ensure places at Bartolomew although it seems Madley Park is in the Bartolomew catchment (just)..
