What are the strengths and weaknesses of St Augustine's Priory Catholic independent school in Ealing. All views welcomed.

Really liked the school, open space very secure and the staff is very friendly. I registers my daughter and hopefully will start in September!

That's good. We were really impressed too when we visited it.

Hi
our daughter has got through st augustine's and notting hill and ealing ( for reception ) ! anyone has any views ? we are confused as both the schools seem good.

Notting hill is much more academic than SAP, at least at secondary. The transfer to secondary is not automatic, even the internal girls have to take the 11+, whereas everybody is welcomed to stay at SAP. Both my daughters attend SAP at primary and are really happy. I don't know much about the secondary side of it yet, they are doing quite well until GCSE I believe, the 6th form is really small and lots of girls leave at that point.

Thanks cooking wine ! Is religious studies a seperate subject that is graded ?? Is it very intense ?

Cookingwine · 16/02/2016 18:29

I think so, at primary they have RE, and mass is compulsory, you can't opt out even if you are not Catholic. They learn about other religions too but not in the same depth.
