How diverse are Tudor Grange and Arden Academy, and is Dorridge safe?

Hi All,

Looking to move Solihull and wanted to ask how diverse Tudor Grange and Arden Academy are. I would like my kids to attend a diverse school.

Also how is the area Dorridge as that’s where we can considering to relocate is it safe? :)

You’ll need to download the right file and then the right spreadsheet within the download. (In the old data I have, from 2022-23, the spreadsheet was called spc - school - level - underlying - data but that might have changed.)

I'd say Tudor Grange is more diverse than Arden, however they are both very good schools. I suggest using the Solihull address checker aswell to buy in catchment to help ensure your child's place.

Dorridge is safe, it's a nice neighborhood. Though if you're concerned about ethnic diversity Greater Birmingham in general may not be the place for you.

Why?, it's very diverse.

OP has stated she'd like her kids to attend a school with diversity.

Arden and Tudor Grange are both nice schools that obtain excellent results both at GCSE and A Level, but not particularly diverse. Solihull is a nice place to live with exception of one or two areas.

I suppose it depends how diverse you want the school to be to be honest. There's also Alderbrook and St.Peters which I think are also fairly diverse but I guess it's subjective.
