My recommendation would be LEH it’s a lovely girls school. They are not a hot house any more, they have mixed group of children. Most of the uber clever ones usually move to central London schools like Westminster, SPGS after junior . They have a lovely music department where the girls even get to perform at New York. Sports is fantastic with something for everyone. The school to avoid would be SWPS. I hear their music department is a disaster. My friends daughter goes there and she said that this year the gcse girls have been told that they will finish the content by the end of spring term ( just a few weeks before their final exams). I was shocked to hear that. Unless the child needs SEND support school I won’t recommend SWPS at all. We visited the school last year and decided against it . I also heard from other children that they barely even had enough loo for the girls so now with boys joining this year I can imagine it can only being worse. I don’t know much about Surbiton high but from what I hear it’s only positive things. Hope this helps.

Hi ... LEH is a lovely school but it is oversubscribed and very academic ... and it looks amazing with great facilities ...Surbiton is on a much smaller site so might not have the 'wow' of LEH an but excellent all rounder and especially if your daughter is musical .. they have a lot of emphasis on the Arts side there but their academics are excellent too ... would suggest a visit to both as they have open days coming up .. location may be a deciding factor for you

Sit for them all and work out during the process where your dd is suited to. February 2027 when you get the offers is a long way from now. It’s a normal combination of schools with either KGS or Claremont Fan in consideration depending on where you live and how well your dd performs in exams. Remember girls have A LOT of choice for example Reeds is going co-ed this year.
