Those are VERY different schools! What do you think - presumably you've visited both? Does your child like an intellectual challenge and shine at Maths? Are they very independent and able to think for themselves? HWSF. If not, Greycoat is probably better especially if the extra curricular offer is important to them, as HWSF isn't great for music, sports etc.

Also, if the Music A level is important surely that makes the decision?

Agreed - they are both great schools - have your DC settled on which subject choice they prefer? Could ask the respective schools if a change is possible now that GCSE results are out? Harris Westminster Music is taught at Westminster School where they will have access to better resources / concerts in prestigious places surely, but I see that music wasn't offered to your DC. It is a smaller busier space than Greatcoats but the results are excellent.

It's really not great for students to have to go off site for classes and it makes them late for their other lessons as the timetables don't align sufficiently. I'm not sure how inclusive the whole situation is either.

Does HWSF still do Saturday school? How does DC feel about that?
