Should my daughter be doing more before Year 13 starts?

just that really. My DD has been predicted A* and A A in next year’s A levels but really hasn’t done a tap of work all summer. I’m a bit concerned. Wasn’t expecting hard core revision but I’m seeing nothing being done. Reading next week and back to school a week later so it feels like the window has passed. What are your DC up to study wise? Am I being OTT?

Most kids will have done nothing. The ones who have gently maintained what they learnt last year with half an hour or an hour a day will hit the ground running.
She'll be fine, but it will be easier if she'd have done a little.

Well, mine has done something almost every day - but she is not predicted 3xAs. And she is so keen to go to uni.

Mine has done what was required by school - mostly product design coursework and a bit of biology - but only because it needs to be done.

Maybe better to ask mumsnet hQ to move this to further education and out of secondary education to get more replies

DD didn't do any school work between years 12 and 13 and achieved AAA at A level.
