Where are we buying school skirts?

My daughter starts secondary school in September. She has to have a black, knee length pleated skirt that sits on her waist.

So far I’ve tried Asda (too short), Matalan (sizing around waist was terrible, all wrinkled around her hips and backside) and Sainsbury’s (too short).

For context she’s 5’4 and a size 10 (or medium) ladies in clothing.

Thank you

Trutex have good length options although pricey and hard to tell what sit on the waist if thats a strict rule.

Where do the 'specific school' items come from? Uniform suppliers usually also sell generic items.

My daughters have always worn John Lewis school skirts. They are smart, well sized and stay looking nice after many washes. We've had pleated, front pleats only and skater style. They get their trousers and shorts from Sainsbury's boys range but I don't like the Sainsbury's skirts.
