Launceston college or Tavistock college?

Anyone have recent experience of these two secondary schools. Due to relocation we are trying to decide where would be the best secondary school for our currently year 6 child.

They have been in the news lately due to their discipline policies - sadly this is true from our/ our friends experience. Best to visit both and find out more and what might suit your family.
