Hi, I need some advice on this please. My Dd is applying to some of the independent schools for 16+. They are Westminster, Latymer upper, Godolphin Latymer and Putney high. So I hear they give conditional offers in Dec and we need to pay the deposit in Jan. so do you accept a firm and an insurance place in 16+ too like we do for universities? In that case would you lose out on one of the deposit. Anyone who has done this before please can you advice? Thank you

It’s totally up to you. If you get more than one offer and want to keep your options open you can pay more than one deposit but most people would more likely pick their favourite and just go for that.
It’s not like Unis- if you pay a deposit and don’t take up the place you will lose the deposit- same as 11 plus.

If you accept two, you’ll potentially also be liable for two sets of fees for the Christmas term, unless you give notice to one before Easter.
