Hello,
Did anyone take a child out from a private school in Year 10 and put it to maintained school and it was a success?
I need inspiring stories as I need to take my DD out from private education and I'm dreading it. She is not happy

If she’s not happy anyway then why worry

Do you mean she’s not happy at her current private school or not happy she’s having to move?

Not happy at her private but doesn't want to move to state school. So, decision is mine. Looking for positive stories.

I moved from a failing private school to an outstanding state comp in year 10. One of the best things that ever happened to me. I actually had friends and the standard of education was much better at the comp.
