Higher English set text, 10 mark question, wording unusual this year?

Please can anyone advise, my daughter sat her H English last week and told me the set text 10 mark question was structured differently and has never seen this type of wording in a question.

She said that a friend in a different secondary school said the same about this question. She's done all the pass papers before the exam, and both girls say there is nothing similar to this wording. Question was worded something along lines of the "Central concern" I can't get the full text of the question but this seems to be the words that caused confused to them both. Both girls took an attempt but as I say they are different schools and same concerns.

I'm really confused as I am struggling to fully understand the exam in all honesty. I've looked over most H English pass papers to see past questions and tried googling, I'm really confused as surely if this style isn't covered in the course work it's unfair for this to be included?

Please can anyone with knowledge on this exam please advise. Thank you

Your school will have the papers now the exam has passed. They usually discuss the exam with pupils after. Maybe ask her to discuss with her teacher.
