Best online GCSE tutors and summer revision programmes for my daughter

Hi,

I am looking for an online tutor for GCSE Maths, English, and Science. Open to both group classes and one-to-one lessons. I would like a programme that my DD can follow over the summer to help her revise and improve my understanding before exams. Ideally, the tutor should be experienced with the GCSE curriculum. Which site is the best, helpful?

Lots to choose from ! We've tried lots and now on second child doing GCSE.

Cognita is very good for online maths, english and science. Not group classes, but very structured programme to follow.

We couldn't find a tutor who could do everything, but there may be one out there. It's quite a lot of topics to cover - is your DC in year 10 at the moment?

I would recommend planning more independent work and then topping up with tutor next year. We've used several tutor agencies including Spire and Tutor Hunt. There are lots out there though. Good luck.

I’ve joined this brilliant website www.exambuilder.co.uk and it goes through science questions - can be done on a phone or a computer and it’s been brilliant for my boys confidence in answering science questions! Highly recommend x

@CloudClasses I'm certain you know you're not allowed to advertise on Mumsnet. I've reported your three posts.

My daughter had the most AMAZING online English tutor from Progressio Tuition. The website itself is very annoying as you can only access it on a laptop/ipad/tablet BUT the tutor was well worth it. Zaakirah is her name is - a law student at Durham University. Cannot say enough good things about her! She's also quite cheap - £28 p/h and I think first lesson is free and you get constant discounts as well
