Choosing between Hurstpierpoint and Tonbridge for secondary school options

Hi there, I’m wondering if anyone has experience of trying to pick between Hurstpierpoint vs Tonbridge school. My son has an offer for both. Looking at flexi boarding at Hurstpierpoint vs day at Tonbridge.
Concerns Tonbridge - primary focus seems to be the International students.
Question mark on Hurstpierpoint - will my son achieve his potential.

By a focus on international students at Tonbridge, what do you mean? Academically? Pastorally?

There’s no comparison if my son and his friends (some at both schools) are anything to go by… Tonbridge is much the safer bet. No heavy focus on international students that we’ve noticed. I think it’s great that my son has friends from around the world but his day house/housemaster is fantastic and there’s every opportunity for them.
