North London secondary school recommendations with strong academics and STEM focus

Hello, not sure whether to post in private. Currently in an all through indie school, smart DD who is good at academics and sports. Currently near Golders Green.

Looking at options for a more academic school for secondary and would like to try DD out. Can anyone local recommend anywhere where its not necessarily a huge hothouse but achieves strong grades. Ideally good focus on STEM.

Options are : NLCS, Habs, SHHS but keen to ask local parents for recommendations.

Highgate! Or do you want single sex?

@andallthepeopleweresinging I was thinking single sex but I haven't seen Highgate myself.

I think Highgate has a rep as a bit hot housey tbh. St Chris out here in Herts win a lot of Robotics competitions, have a new female head of Computing and AI and strong in maths with the top sets eg doing really strong work. Would really recommend for a STEM focused dc. Best GCSEs in North Herts this year as well despite not having a stressful entrance exam process (calmer VR and NVR).
